With a metropolitan population of over 130,000, the growing metropolis area also has a unique arts and cultural scene. Located along the eastern shore of Lake Wausau, there’s something for everyone, from parks to bike trails and boat launches to all the convenience of a city living.

In the summer, Central Wisconsin and the surrounding Wausau area are known for water sports, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and boating.
